Prior to using the API's, you need to create an API key. To do this follow these steps.
Note: If you have not set up your account yet, follow the instructions in Setting Up Your ARC Account.
Go to https://app.blockspaces.com and enter your credentials and two-factor authentication.
Once logged in, open the user profile menu by clicking on the Avatar in the top right corner of the page.
Click on My API Keys.
Once you click on My API Keys, you'll be presented with a dialog which shows all of your existing API Keys.
Click on Add Key. This will bring up a window to enter the required information including name, description and the Application. This is just to help you manage your API Keys.
Click Add API Key and you will see a window with the API key presented. You will need to copy this to a safe location as we won't re-present this to you again.
You will then see the list of your API keys reflect the new API key.
On the Manage API Keys screen, you can inactivate API keys if you would like. You'll also see expiring API keys and create new keys at any time.
Once you have your API key, you can use the API's. In the following pages, we'll outline how different types of users might use the API's including a single counterparty or an authorized custodian.
